A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Ms. Collins joined Success Academy in 2016. Before working at SA, she served as an educator with the Peace Corps in Morocco. Ms. Collins began her teaching career at SA Harlem East as a fifth-grade science teacher before transitioning to teaching fifth-grade math as a content lead. In her last year in the classroom, 100% of her scholars passed the New York State Math Test. In 2019, Ms. Collins joined the SA Harlem East leadership team, where she managed all content areas in seventh and eighth grade. She became principal at SA Harlem East in 2021. Ms. Collins enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her family and friends.
