Ms. Meegan joined SA Harlem 3 in 2012, teaching first and fourth grade. She later became a literacy manager at the Network, developing curriculum, assessments, and educator training for all SA schools. In 2017, Ms. Meegan transitioned back to the school setting, where she served as an assistant principal at SA Harlem 5 and SA Bronx 1 before assuming the role of acting principal at SA Bronx 1. Ms. Meegan was the principal at SA Williamsburg from 2021 to 2023 and is excited to continue her passion for leadership as principal at SA Harlem 1. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Bucknell University and a master’s degree in general and special education from Touro Graduate School of Education. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, exercising, and reading over sixty books each year!
