Ms. Wilson joined Success Academy in 2014 as a third grade teacher at SA Harlem 3. Prior to joining Success, she taught elementary school in Baltimore City. In 2018, Ms. Wilson won the Big Apple Teaching Award and served on the Chancellor’s Teacher Advisory Committee. She went on to serve as assistant principal at SA Harlem 3 from 2018-2020, before moving to SA Bushwick in 2020 to serve as principal. Ms. Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University and her master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Leadership from Concordia University. She is passionate about supporting scholars in developing strong literacy skills that will enable them to become successful readers and writers, and she is committed to building a school community that brings rigorous, joyful instruction to all students. In her spare time, Ms. Wilson enjoys taking yoga classes, spending time with her family, and playing with her dog Charlie.
