Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mr. Greenaway joined SA Bergen Beach in 2019 as a music teacher. Before becoming the assistant principal at SA Ditmas Park in 2023, Mr. Greenaway taught first-grade ICT for two years at SA Bushwick and served as grade team lead. Mr. Greenaway has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Brooklyn College and a master’s degree in childhood and special education at Touro Graduate School of Education. He is passionate about leading a school community where both scholars and teachers strive toward excellence and are committed to growth. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling the world, and spending time with his family.
