Ms. Metzger joined SA Harlem 3 in 2016 as a third-grade teacher. She has taught third and fourth grade and served as fourth-grade team lead and senior grade team lead. In 2023, she became an assistant principal at SA Ditmas Park Middle School where she managed grades five, eight, and science. Ms. Metzger holds a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology from Pace University and a master’s degree in education from Touro Graduate School of Education. She is committed to building a school community where staff and scholars are motivated to exceed their goals and achieve excellence. In her free time, she loves reading and spending time with her family and dog, Brody.
