Ms. Beatty joined SA Harlem 3 as a lead teacher in 2016 and taught all elementary school grades before becoming an assistant principal at SA Bushwick in 2022. Today, Ms. Beatty continues her leadership in Brooklyn as principal of SA Bushwick and SA Bed-Stuy Middle School. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a master’s degree in childhood education and special education from Touro Graduate School of Education. Ms. Beatty loves Pilates, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
