About Success Academy

Founded in 2006, Success Academy has built New York State’s highest-performing public school district and a national model of educational excellence. The network serves 22,000 students across 59 elementary, middle, and high schools, the majority from low-income communities, and admitted by random lottery. Our distinctive K–12 approach delivers outcomes that surpass even affluent districts. To date, 100% of SA’s graduates have been accepted to a four-year college, many to highly selective institutions, and most are first-generation college students. By scaling excellence and reigniting the civic mission of education, Success Academy is leading a movement to reinvent public education so that more children can thrive and achieve in school, college, and life.

2025 Spring Benefit

A Conversation with Success Academy Alumni

In April 2025, we celebrated our Success Academy alumni—their preparedness, their achievements, and their aspirations. Wura Adetola, Alvaro Crawford, and Balla Sanogo joined Founder & CEO Eva Moskowitz in conversation, showing that our alumni are proof that exceptional outcomes are possible for all children, and that great schooling can be achieved at scale.
